• Open to individuals with an M.D. or a Ph.D. and demonstrated expertise in hematopoietic cell transplantation, cellular therapy and/or gene therapy, as evidenced by either the publication of these topics or documentation of two years of experience in hematopoietic cell transplantation, cellular therapy and/or gene therapy or relevant laboratory research

• Open to individuals with an M.D. or a Ph.D. who otherwise do not meet the criteria for full membership

• Available to allied non-M.D. or non-Ph.D. professionals who are integral members of the BMT team or who have an interest in BMT
• Especially appropriate for advanced practice professionals, pharmacists, transplant nurses and administrative staff at transplant centers, collection centers and processing laboratories
• Appropriate for professional staff of corporations related to the BMT field

ASTCT Members are eligible to apply for Emeritus membership if they meet all of the requirements below:

• have a doctoral degree or PhD (or equivalent of either)
• are 70 years or older
• have been a member of ASTCT in good standing for at least 10 years
• have demonstrated involvement in the field of transplant and cellular therapy as evidence by contributions to the field, original contributions, volunteer positions with ASTCT and related transplant and cell therapy organizations
